How are they different from cast iron?

Wrought from a solid sheet of iron, our pans are half the weight, more conductive and even more durable, as they cannot crack.

What is seasoning?

Seasoning is simply layers of oil baked onto a pan, which forms a natural, easy-release cooking surface. Seasoning is the only way to achieve a non toxic, forever renewable non stick cooking surface.

What oils can you use?

For seasoning, we recommend rice bran oil. For cooking, any oil/fat of choice can be used.

What utensils can you use?

Any! We prefer metal and wood utensils be used for cooking.

Do they rust?

All iron pans can rust if left wet, idle or unseasoned. Dry thoroughly after washing, to avoid oxidation.
